Responsibilities;

* Assist the marketing services senior manager as brand champions;
representing the consumer voice for all trade consumer touch points.
* Participate as a key member of the Canadian marketing team,
contributing to the development of overall strategies, the approval
and execution of the marketing plan and to create a positive sense of
team and purpose within marketing.
* Works collaboratively with product managers to support and integrate
product level strategic priorities with shared marketing touch
points.
* Drives for new consumer insights with an applications approach to
deliver more powerful business building programs.
* Develop and implement business building activities for assigned
applications, including new products, relationship marketing, consumer
promotions, trade initiatives and alliance work.
* Works closely with U.S. counterparts to ensure alignment and
integration for all key consumer touch points.


Qualifications;

* Bachelors Degree required; MBA with emphasis in Marketing preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience, 2+ years in a product management level
marketing role in a traditional packaged goods or relevant application
marketing.
* Broad perspective of business and operations preferably in a large
corporate environment
* Experience in all aspects of Marketing (generalist rather than
specialist)
* Demonstrated success in the execution of marketing plans for
consumer brand
* Demonstrated creativity in packaging and developing collateral
materials in store displays
* Demonstrated talent in both analytical and creative arenas
* High levels of motivation, initiative, and energy
* Exceptional strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage a
branded business with significant competition.
* Proven results driving new product growth - consumer insights
through to commercialization and market building.
* Strong team leadership and consensus building skills.
